Privacy Policy
Last Updated July 2026
This Privacy Policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Thank you for choosing to play BrainJack. We are pioneering a new standard for Responsible Gaming. This policy explains exactly what data we collect to monitor healthy gameplay, how we process it, and how we protect your anonymity.
1. WHO WE ARE
We are NX10.ME LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13746822. Our registered office is at Africa House, 70 Kingsway, London, United Kingdom, WC2B 6AH.
NX10.ME LTD is the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions, wish to exercise your data rights, or need support, you can contact us at: support@nx10.me.

2. IN-APP ONLY & CONTENT-BLIND
BrainJack utilizes background telemetry to ensure a safe gaming environment. We want to be unequivocally clear about the boundaries of this tracking:
- In-App Only: We ONLY collect data while the BrainJack app is actively open and running on your screen. We do not track you in the background when the app is closed.
- 100% Content-Blind: We do not access your camera, microphone, photos, messages, or web history. We only measure your physical interaction with the BrainJack game itself.
3. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT & WHY
BrainJack tracks your physical interaction with your device exclusively to enforce our Responsible Gaming mechanics. We do not display a health or wellbeing score to you; the data is used silently by our game engine to detect "dysregulation" (often called "tilt" or problem-gaming behavior). To do this, we collect:
A. Motion Sensor Data (Accelerometer & Gyroscope)
Why we collect it: We use motion sensor data to identify the physical stability of your device while playing. Sudden, erratic movements or device shaking are key indicators of player frustration or dysregulation.
B. Kinematic & Touch Dynamics
What it is: How hard you press the screen, the speed of your taps, and the rhythm of your gameplay decisions.
Why we collect it: We use this purely structural, physical data to detect if your playstyle has shifted from relaxed entertainment to impulsive or frustrated behavior. If we detect high dysregulation, the game will automatically initiate a mandatory "Timeout" (cooling-off period) for your protection.
C. Device Metadata
What it is: Device model, OS version, and a randomly generated, anonymous device identifier. This is required for our algorithms to calibrate correctly to your specific hardware.
4. CLOUD PROCESSING & ANONYMITY
To evaluate your gameplay, the motion and kinematic data is transmitted securely via encrypted channels (TLS) to NX10's cloud servers for real-time processing.
Anonymity by Design: You do not provide your real name or email address to play BrainJack. The data sent to our cloud is associated only with a random, hashed device ID. We have no way of linking this mathematical data back to your real-world identity.
5. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
Under UK GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, we rely on your Consent to access your device's terminal sensors (accelerometer/gyroscope) and to process the resulting physical interaction data.
You provide this consent when you first launch the game. You can withdraw this consent at any time by revoking the sensor permissions in your device settings or by uninstalling the game.
6. AGE RESTRICTIONS
BrainJack is a simulated casino game intended strictly for adults. You must be 18 years of age or older to play. If we learn we have collected data from a minor under 18, we will delete that information and restrict the device immediately.
7. DATA RETENTION, DELETION & YOUR RIGHTS (SAR)
Anonymised kinematic data is retained securely for up to 10 years to aid in scientific research and algorithmic improvement. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to your data (Subject Access Request) or request its deletion (Right to be Forgotten). Because BrainJack is anonymous, we do not know your name or email. Therefore, we cannot identify your data in our systems without your help.
How to Request Data Deletion or Access:
- Open BrainJack and navigate to the Settings menu.
- Locate your randomly generated Unique Hash / Device ID.
- Tap the button to draft an email, or manually email support@nx10.me with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" or "Data Access Request", ensuring you include your unique hash.
We will use this hash to locate and purge or export your specific mathematical vectors from our cloud systems.
To stop any future data collection immediately, simply uninstall BrainJack from your iOS/Android device.
8. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Your data may be processed on cloud servers located outside the UK (but never outside of the EU). When this happens, we ensure appropriate legal safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place to protect your data under UK GDPR standards.
9. RIGHT TO COMPLAIN
We hope we can resolve any concerns you have by emailing support@nx10.me. However, you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
