JuiceBar App & Keyboard
Privacy Policy
Last Updated July 2026
This Privacy Policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Thank you for choosing to use JuiceBar and the JuiceBar Custom Keyboard. Your privacy is fundamental to how we have built this application. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we process it, and most importantly for a custom keyboard what we strictly do not collect.
1. WHO WE ARE
We are NX10.ME LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13746822. Our registered office is at Africa House, 70 Kingsway, London, United Kingdom, WC2B 6AH.

2. THE JUICEBAR KEYBOARD: 100% CONTENT-BLIND
Because JuiceBar utilizes a Custom iOS/Android Keyboard to track your physical interaction levels across different applications, we want to be unequivocally clear about how it works:
- We DO NOT log keystrokes. We do not know what words or letters you are typing.
- We DO NOT read your messages. Semantic content is never collected or analyzed.
- We DO NOT track other apps. We do not know if you are typing in WhatsApp, Safari, or an email client.
- We DO NOT capture passwords. The operating system automatically disables custom keyboards in secure password fields.
3. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT & WHY
JuiceBar tracks your physical interaction with your device. We map these "jiggles," taps, and device movements into a mechanical activity index (your BrainJuice score). We do not claim to measure health or clinical states; rather, we provide this physical interaction score so you can see how it maps to your own daily routines and subjective wellbeing.
A. Motion Sensor Data (Accelerometer & Gyroscope)
Why we collect it: We use motion sensor data to identify your physical context (such as walking, standing, sitting, or traveling). This helps you see how your physical environment impacts your interaction intensity.
B. Kinematic & Touch Dynamics
What it is: How hard you press the screen, the speed of your taps, flight-time between touches, and the micro-movements of your device while holding it.
Why we collect it: We use this purely structural, physical data to calculate your BrainJuice score (mechanical load and interaction intensity) while you type or use the app.
C. Device Metadata
What it is: Device model, OS version, battery level, timezone, and a randomly generated, anonymous device identifier. This is required for our algorithms to calibrate correctly to your specific hardware.
4. CLOUD PROCESSING & ANONYMITY
To calculate your BrainJuice score, the motion and kinematic data collected by the app and keyboard is transmitted securely via industry-standard encryption (TLS) to NX10's cloud servers for processing.
Anonymity by Design: You do not create an account, provide a name, or provide an email address to use JuiceBar. The data sent to our cloud is associated only with a random, hashed device ID. We have no way of linking this mathematical data back to your real-world identity.
5. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
Under UK GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, we rely on your Consent to access your device's terminal sensors (accelerometer/gyroscope) and to process the resulting performance and physical interaction data.
You provide this consent when you first launch the app. You can withdraw this consent at any time by revoking the sensor permissions in your device settings or by uninstalling the app and keyboard.
6. AGE RESTRICTIONS
JuiceBar is intended for users aged 13 and over. Under UK data protection law, we require users to be at least 13 years old to consent to sensor access. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
7. DATA RETENTION, DELETION & YOUR RIGHTS (SAR)
Anonymised kinematic data is retained securely for up to 10 years to aid in scientific research and algorithmic improvement. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to your data (Subject Access Request) or request its deletion (Right to be Forgotten). Because JuiceBar does not use accounts, we do not know your name or email. Therefore, we cannot identify your data in our systems without your help.
How to Request Data Deletion or Access:
- Open the JuiceBar App and navigate to the Settings menu.
- Locate your randomly generated Unique Hash / Device ID.
- Tap the button to draft an email, or manually email support@nx10.me with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" or "Data Access Request", ensuring you include your unique hash.
We will use this hash to locate and purge or export your specific mathematical vectors from our cloud systems.
To stop any future data collection immediately, simply uninstall the JuiceBar app and remove the Custom Keyboard from your iOS/Android device settings.
8. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Your data may be processed on cloud servers located outside the UK (but never outside of the EU). When this happens, we ensure appropriate legal safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place to protect your data under UK GDPR standards.
9. RIGHT TO COMPLAIN
We hope we can resolve any concerns you have by emailing support@nx10.me. However, you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
